Human Rights violation is a universal problem that includes a lot of contributing factors. Be it political, cultural, religious – human rights violations exist.

Human rights violations mostly happen in countries where political struggles and civil unrest continue but in more developed countries like the United States and Europe, these violations often start with racism.

Other people, however, believe that the violation of human rights can be avoided if people behave the right way, but before we discuss how we can avoid human rights violations, we see some examples first.

Examples of violation of human rights

  1. Torture of people (be they physical or psychological) is a clear example of a violation of Human Rights, which unfortunately have a long history of countless events throughout time.
  1. Discrimination (whether based on creed, religion, skin color, social status, etc.) also moves against Human Rights, other related examples could correspond to individuals with some physical deformity or special characteristics, which for them are removed from their social sphere
  1. Home invasion (considering cases of illegal expropriation, such as For example, a government, organization, or individual who broke into a dwelling, in the presence or not of its owner, without an order of “legal” origin)
  1. EL denying free expression (few are the cases of writers, singers, teachers, and others who have suffered the loss of this fundamental right, in the presence of regimes military, dictators, etc.), even forcing them to uproot as a method of self-preservation of its own existence
  1. Abuse of authority (within this category fit all the cases in which the Politicians, law enforcement, and even large corporations put pressure on people, whether through the use of public or private force)
  1. Dilation of justice (this happens when judicial processes are move from their imposed limits in form and time), we can cite as a didactic example, to any person who is held in a cell without having to be sentenced, regardless of that the times for his presentation have already ended
  1. Incorrect fines (Sound examples can be -I allow myself the ironies in this regard-, receiving a fine for a traffic violation on February 28 at 11:59 p.m,, being hospitalized that same day, or the hated “Photographic fines” that They carry out image captures of vehicles parked in the wrong places, but they just carry out the taking the photograph at the exact moment the beacon lights go through their cycle of being “off”, thus changing the real context of having the vehicle with a mechanical inconvenience due to being incorrectly parked)
  1. Denying certain types of essential services (Imagine a tribe of aborigines who is not accepted or is discriminated against when entering a hospital or excluded when drawing the plans for a certain type of works of the common good, either by their place of residence, religious practices, or simply for his appearance)
  1. Make minors work (unfortunately, there are several countries in which A large part of its workforce -in general- is carried out by minors, even reaching being really children the employees, who by these practices are removed from the right to education, among others)
  1. Failure to respect the right to data privacy (making public personal data private of someone such as being, religion, political affiliation, and any other information that the individual -and the law-, consider they must remain anonymous)

Not all the time that the violation is started by the violators. In fact, in many but not most cases, it is the victims who are the main cause of the violation.

Examples – Bribery. When you bribe someone in order to get a favor in return, they will get hold of you, and later, they will not do anything unless you pay.

In Asia where most violations are allegedly committed by police or military, it is always the victims who started the chaos, especially during protest rallies. If you don’t want to get violated, stay at home. This is the phrase that I always tell my friends who love to go to political rallies.

In some countries, protesters are paid by opposing politicians but when they are apprehended by authorities, they will complain that their rights are being violated. So who instigated the violation?

How to Avoid Human Rights Violations

Although human rights violation is uncontrollable by nature, there are many ways to avoid these incidents if we are really serious in protecting ourselves and our rights.

  1. Don’t join in with political and civil rights rallies. Yes, the purpose of these rallies sometimes is to let authorities hear our rights but these are the activities that always invite abuses especially when the police cannot control the crowd anymore.
  2. Don insists on your rights to people when there is no need to insist. I see a lot of black people getting arrested because instead of complying, they keep resisting.
  3. Don’t violate the rights of other people. A good example of this was a gay couple of was denied by a baker because the baker said it was against his religion to serve gay people. Yes, both of them have rights but instead of calling it quits, the gay couple insisted and brought the case to the court, and lost.

There are a lot of ways to avoid violations but it depends on case to case basis. Again, in the US, people who behave are less likely to get violated so instead of joining all these rallies and protests why don’t you go to the beach, go on hiking, or the best, do an RV trip?

Do you know that people who always go on camping with RV are people who have the healthiest minds? No pressure, no stress, no problem.

Recently, a family of 6 in Utah bought a converted school bus through ZeRVs.com. Ben, the father said that instead of protesting against the Covid vaccine and get chaotic against authorities, he’ll better go on cross-country motoring with his wife and 4 kids while thinking whether they will get a vaccine or not when they return. Hearing his plan, 3 of his neighbors decided to do the same, and not they are on the road since August 4 enjoying the human rights violation-free country every day.
